It works pretty well but it tend to tangle if you retracted it to hard. but out of what it is offered (similar products) this is probably the best.

Works well, is nice and compact. Only problem is that in retracting, it can tangle easily. It took my 27-year-old son an hour to fix when he had that issue with mine.

We bought this cable for use in the car. It does a good job keeping the console free of cable clutter and makes it easy to pick up the iphone and look at it while still keeping it plugged in. The retraction mechanism is still woking well after six months of use and we are completely satisfied with the cable’s quality.

What made me spend more than double the amount was an apparent, nice style as featured on the picture in the listing. Don’t be disappointed when you receive a cheap looking, standard black cable.
The fact that shipping took forever (Amazon apologized and upgraded to UPS once the item was available) is ok since I chose free shipping. You get what you pay for is true for the shipping – not for the product
