I have a MacBook Pro and this is my first Apple computer so I am trying to get used to the OS. I get email attachments, I am guessing are video files (.wmv) and when I try to open them up, it gives me a pop up box with what looks like code … any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Yeah… I don’t think Quicktime opens those, to be honest. I know Mplayer has reverse-engineered codecs for most Microsoft formats, though. Others will likely suggest VLC, but as an Mplayer, user, I’ll have to suggest that as it’s quite versatile, very stable, and reads most every format. Just don’t expect a Mac-like Interface!
