Despite some of reviews listed for this product I decided to purchase it anyway– I now regret that choice. I open the box with high expectations and was disappointed immeasurably. The sliding panel on the ilive system did not work properly at all! It only slid up approx one inch and that was it. To say the least this product is horrible and I purchased it off the whim of maybe it will work and it the others experienced a fluke–I WAS WRONG! I am contacting Amazon and seeking a refund IMMEDIATELY! If there was an option to select no stars as a rating I would utilize it…iLIVE–I HATE!

I PURCHASED 2 OF THESE IPOD DOCKS FOR MY DAUGHTERS. THE QUALITY IS CHEAP, THE DOOR OPENS, BUT GETS STUCK AND YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY PUSH IT DOWN, THE SPEAKERS WORK SOMETIMES AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN’T. WHAT IS THE CHANCE OF 2 UNITS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS. THE QUALITY IS VERY CHEAP AND POOR.

For the price of this music system, it’s a great value. I have this in my kitchen and have been totally satisfied.

I ordered this system for my grandson, for Christmas. He is very pleased with it. it’s a good small system for the bedroom.

My daughter asked for this item to take to college. She preferred this model because her ipod would be protected behind the door. We purchased two and returned them both. The sound quality was terrible. There was an intermittent buzzing sound, no matter the music source. Also, the door did not move smoothly. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend purchasing this product.
