I got this kit with iPhone 3g screen i replace to screen on a iPhone 3g i had to repair. I used suck tool out of it and did seamless release of the screen. Never used the rest the items included, but the feel solid. With the parrying tools you have to be careful because after a few hard tries to open something they will break. This is not only for what is included in the kit but for all of them i have about ten set of them that came in different kits i bought before. But it is great package if you want do repairs on small electronics like the ipod all generations and the iphones all generations.

Don’t buy this product. First, it was missing one of the tools shown, #4 and tool #3 broke trying to open the Iphone (btw that is what that tool is supposed to do). Learn you lesson from me.. Just go to a local dollar store and get two small cross tip screw drivers, and a plastic bag of knifes, like comes in a set of 25. Break the plastic knife and sharpen on edge to a 45 degree angle. Tool #3 broke and was useless. Did I mention this tool kits better quality… Oh, I forgot, it doesn’t have a better quality, unless you just want to waste money..

I bought this kit to use to open an Asus netbook for some modding. Shipping was way too high. The lip of the blue tools broke off almost immediately. The suction cup is a joke. It wouldn’t create suction on any part of my ipod. (I tested it out of boredom while on a conference call.) The screwdrivers are throw away items. I found I was better off with a cheap plastic disposable paint scraper (dull the edge with some sand paper) and my own screwdrivers.

I bought this because I just needed something to help me open up a 5th Generation iPod Video.
After receiving it in the mail, I discovered that the tools were really different from the picture shown. My tools were orange, and one of the screwdrivers looked different too. Since I was going to use the tools once, I didn’t care.
First, I used the orange iPod opening tools, and their tips all broke off. I had to stick to using several guitar picks instead. I also thought the suction cup was a joke, but I actually used it to help me separate the face plate from the back plate, and it worked. The screwdrivers worked too, and helped me install things into my iPod.
I was disappointed that the opening tools broke, because I figured I might actually need to use them. The tools are also priced too high, for tools that break easily. If I were you, I would buy a different set of tools, especially if you might need to use the kit more than once. The is not even good for just one use.
