Sony ZSS4IP CD Boombox with iPod Dock and iPhone
I bought this for my 10 year old daughter to replace her pink “Hello Kitty” one. She was able to program and operate it without help and is thrilled by it’s sound and performance. It apperars to do everything that Sony says it will. FYI: it does opperate on batteries which is not mentioned anywhere in any adds for it.

When my Sony cfd-f10 gave out I returned it to Best Buy to exchange it for another. Unfortunatly, Best Buy no longer stocks this box so after looking at what they had, I got this. Big mistake! Some of you may like the features on this unit like the i-pod and i-phone dock but the sound comming out of this thing is the worst i’ve ever heard! There is absolutely NO bass or volume! Calling this a “boom box” is laughable. Sony should be ashamed! Paul H.

I got this or 2008 christmas. Once unwrapped, i opened the box and set up the speakers, which was quicker than my dad could unwrap a CD. I plugged in my ipod (nano, 3rd gen.)and started playing christmas tunes. My dad was still unwrapping his CD!!! Remote is very easy to use once known how to use, and it comes with a door without the window or people with ipod touches and iphones. GREAT PRODUCT, SONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charges and plays iPods, a given does what it is supposed to do. The sound is great too!
Auxiliary Port a plus – can use my wife’s Samsung mp3 player with an extra $15 towards a cable to plug in the port and the other end in the headphone jack. With the same cable I can use this as computer speakers – I have a laptop for work purposes (also a Sony).
Remote Control icing on the cake – this shows that this boombox clearly designed for iPods. You can control the menus with the remote control. Comes with replaceable door in the iPod slot for iPhone or iPod Touch.

Brand new Sony product for those who love accessories for the Iphone3g and Ipod touch. Despite a retro design this is a good option if you need a boost for your Iphone sound. The Iphone or Ipod is docked and will be charged while playing and you can browse your songs with the remote control. I’m satisfied and recommend.
