I was routed to this amazon cable page from the 3GJuice website where it did say the cable was the niche cable for otterbox cases (I did not check that it still says that or not).
But otterbox case iPhone users should know that this will not work for them.
Too bad I didn’t see Jethro’s review before getting this cable.

Good Product. Arrived in new condition. Works perfectly.
I bought this for my 4th Gen Ipod Nano so I can actually charge my ipod while listening in my car.
This is one of the only extension cables on amazon to support apple’s modification to their charging method.
(A true USB 2.0 or firewire connection like iphones and most smart phones.)
This works great with my Alpine CDA-9884 and KCX-244TR.

This comes standard now in the CDA-105 Alpine.(USB2.0 True)
Using this cable I can now place the clunky KCX-244TR charging adapter from alpine in my glove box, instead of in my Ipod mount.
Now I have charging abilities in my car with my digital DAC connection from my 4th Gen Ipod.
Plugged cable in and everything works perfectly.

Although it has juice in the name I haven’t been able to drink it. I did find an alternative use for it, it works great as a charger for my iPhone when it has a case on.

I got this because the AC plug for my ipod touch is way to short to go from the wall to my desk. The extension is good quality and works perfectly.

I needed a short extension that would allow me to connect my Griffin AutoPilot for iPod to my ProClip iPhone mount by running the cable under my dashboard. This worked perfectly.
My iPhone 3G charges and the audio plays.
Four stars because it was a tad expensive, probably because they’re difficult to find.
