I ordered one of these and liked it so much that I ordered two more. I keep one at home, one at work and one to carry with me. Great value for the money!

Bought this for my daughters Ipod and it works great! She tends to run the battery down often, so this is plugged in her room. Great for just re-charging without having to sync.

To be honest. I’m disappointed. Although I should have known what would and would not work with the iPhone, it would haveneen nice if I was blatantly told so in the items description. The charger doesn’t work with the phone because it’s not an apple charger I’m guessing. The other reviews made it seem possible but it doesn’t work with my 3gs. Regardless, for three bucks shipped I’m sure I can find another use for it.

I think I felt out of my desk chair when I clicked on this product link. 8 cents? For a charger? I paid 375x that at the AT&T store. So I did what any shellshocked American consumer would do — I bought five of them right away. Hey, even if they were duds, at least I was only out a pack of salted peanuts from the vending machine.
They arrived in generic red boxes so I was a little concerned, but turns out there was nothing to worry about. They charge the iPhone fine, and the cord is even a little longer than the standard one that comes with your phone. I keep one at work, another at home, gave two to the wife and keep an extra in my suitcase for travel. Can’t beat it, so buy it.

I purchased mine on Amazon from Eforcity for 17 cents + $2.98 shipping. It looks well made and works just fine. It’s very light. The phone and the charger are barelly warm when charging. The phone switches from the lightning sign on the battery to a “electrical plug sign” after awhile – it is the phone’s job not to overcharge the battery not the charger’s so I do not know what they might tell you at AT&T store – this one IS the right price for a simple device like this.
