This is a great gadget. Totally reliable. It has saved me on a number of occasions when i forgot to charge up my iPhone before going out. Don’t leave home without it.

The battery arrived right on time, just before we left on a trip. During a heavy rain, we were using my iphone to navigate a complicated drive. My phone died a few hours into it (constant mapping going) and I plugged in the battery – after having to take the case off. I got a few more more hours of use from it before it died as well. However, it has never charged again – I left it plugged in overnight a few different times. No luck. So it’s cheap for an emergency perhaps. But expensive for a one time use battery. I’ve emailed the seller twice through Amazon with no response. I’ve ordered a different brand battery since this one is useless – and the other brand has a short cord so I won’t have to pry the case off to use it.

I bought this back in July received and worked fine for a while. Just stopped working and wasnt worth the money. Another thing you had to hold together wouldnt even stay connected too the iphone. Had too lay it down flat . Dont waste your money unless you have a lot to just blow.

This portable battery charger works well with my iPhone 3GS. Nothing fancy but a full indicator is helpful to know when the unit is optimally charged. The little rubber cover on the business end of the charger is “a nice to have” since it protects the connector. Only thing is that it is not glitzy, but who needs more than a serviceable charger?

I had high hopes for this unit. After getting it I plugged it in to charge the unit. After 24 hours the full charge light still did not come on. I have never gotten it to come on. The most I have ever gotten is an extra 10% charge added to my phone. I am really not happy with this!
