Trust me, I am trying to save you money…. we dropped a phone with this case on it from just under waist height and the screen shattered… do not buy this if you think it is going to protect your phone in anyway… this case is all about looks and has ZERO protection… just as if you did not have it on at all… do not buy this case. Speck makes other cases that actually protect your phone, but this is NOT one of them.

  2. This case is okay. kind of cheap plastic. I put it on the phone and it just seems it will come loose after time. The fabric is kind of cheap feeling. I wish it was a little more “plush” oh well. This case takes a little too much away from the original design of the actual phone….like the lock button at the top its kind of hard to access with your finger because its embedded deep in the case.

I wasn’t sure about this case and ordered another case as well. I ended up keeping this one and giving the other to a friend. While I haven’t tested it by dropping the phone, the case seems like it should be tough enough to in fact protect the phone if it does happen. The exterior is a fabric like coating that does have the potential to get dirty but is more attractive then some of the boring, solid color plastic or rubber versions.

  4. I bought this case for my wife. She takes very good care of her phone and accessories. She has had this case on her phone for six months.

Two problems – first, the fabric is fraying fairly badly on the bottom of the case. Second, the plastic frame has broken.

It is a nice looking case but it was not built to last.

I did a fair amount of research on options for iPhone cases before finally settling on this case (the tan version). This case was exactly as advertised upon receipt and I enjoyed it for a few weeks time. It was at that point, however, that I noticed it had begun to acquire dirt stains that were quite difficult to remove. I eventually gave up and stopped using the case as it began to be too unseemly. Long term quality of this product is lacking. Fundamentally this is a result of surrounding the case in fabric as they do. I would suggest going with a complete hard case material, or no case at all if given the option.

In addition, the case is a bit bulky. When scrolling left to right or vice versa, I found it was difficult to highlight text at the very edge of the screen as the case was in the way of my finger making proper contact with the screen.

In summation, I would not recommend this case from a functional OR fashion perspective, as you will be rather disappointed in both aspects.
